Overview
We are looking for a results-oriented sales leader to join our team as the Director of Group Verification Sales. This position will report directly to our VP of Commercial Sales and will be responsible for new business revenue growth within our Ecommerce vertical. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience selling to the CMO. The candidate must have inside sales experience closing ACV greater than $50k, navigating multi-stakeholder sales, and have solution selling experience. The candidate must also have experience coaching and mentoring a sales team.
The Director of Group Verification Sales will manage a team of inside sales professionals to achieve sales and revenue targets. The team will consist of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives (AEs) who will focus on generating revenue from new clients. You will be expected to roll up your sleeves to support the team with the day-to-day.
A successful leader in this role will have superb verbal and written communication skills and will be comfortable selling complex technical products. You will be responsible for developing customized proposals, conducting sales presentations, and going on site visits to do product demonstrations.
Responsibilities
Lead and motivate SDRs and AEs to efficiently prospect, pitch, and close deals to overachieve in their assigned quotasDesign and implement strategic plans to reach sales targetsManage sales plan to ensure sales and revenue goals are achievedDesign repeatable processes and record all leads and opportunities in Salesforce to optimize the inside sales teamCoordinate sales planning and monthly reviews of opportunity pipeline with team, identifying opportunities, demand & revenue generation and action plans to meet / exceed targetsCultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyaltyEstablish a sales onboarding program to train new employees
Qualifications
5+ years of quota exceeding performance selling Enterprise solutionsExperience selling B2B SaaS software solutionsExperience selling ACV greater than $50kA track record of adding blue chip logos in an Enterprise software roleHunter mentality with solid Sales DNAOutstanding written and verbal communications skillsExcellent negotiation and leadership skillsMust live in the DC areaBS/BA degree strongly preferredSalesforce experienceExperience at a fast-paced startup a plus
