Job Title: Treasury Analyst

 
 
Your role in helping us shape the future:
As part of the Treasury Operations team this position will include global cash management, liquidity forecasting, cash accounting, short-term investing and payment processing. Responsibilities will range from daily operational tasks to analysis and design of processes to continually improve Intelsat's global cash management and liquidity operations.

This role will also support the Insurance and Risk Management function.

Are you up to the challenge?
Establish the daily cash position for all legal entities making investment decisions in compliance with established policies Execute and reconcile daily wire transfers for AP and Payroll Administer inter-company loans for internal cash mobilization Support the AP and AR teams with queries and identifying best practices to gain efficiencies Provide support to the Accounting team during the monthly close process Assist with maintaining and optimizing corporate banking and cash management activities Serve as contact point for the banks for cash management, reporting and other treasury-related issues Participate in cross-functional teams (AR, AP, Payroll) supporting working capital initiatives
You should definitely have:
Must have a Bachelors' Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar discipline At least three years of work experience, with five years preferred (or an equivalent amount of education and work experience) CTP or similar credential preferred Good understanding of Treasury Operations and Cash Management best practices Experience with a Treasury Workstation or other Treasury automation solution Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial statement analysis Experience in developing, delivering and analyzing large amounts of data Ability to synthesize financial, operational and strategic information into a meaningful written presentation Knowledge and ability to conduct research, review, and analysis of data from several databases Experience in writing memos and documenting new methodology to implement new SOX controls Experience interacting and communicating with a diverse workforce and cross-functional teams
