LMI is seeking a skilled air defense specialist to support senior leaders in a high-visibility role in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Seeking a top-performing candidate with an interest in air defense acquisitions, research, or operations to join our growing team in OSD. This position supports the Platform and Weapon Portfolio Management Office, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, with acquisition oversight efforts for tactical integrated air and missile defense for surface warfare.
Acquisition/Program Support: Developing and leading briefings at the executive level within OSD and the Services. Writing and routing draft documents, coordinating comment resolution and incorporating comments into final version. Producing executive level presentations and point papers.
Requirements Development: Maintaining communication with the US Services requirements officers on requirements and integration across a wide range of topics and issues. Assisting in obtaining required analytical products that support formal requirements documents.
Planning, Program, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE): Providing analysis regarding program execution, out-year planning and the creation of the Program Objective
Performing other duties as assigned.
