Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting the Department of Justice/United States Marshalls Service (USMS) as a Mid-Level Developer working out of USMS headquarters in Arlington, VA. This role involves working on a team of developers in designing, developing, configuring, and deploying web applications within the SharePoint 2010/1016 platform. The candidate will provide development and operations and maintenance(O&M) support as well as participate in the ongoing migration from SP2016 to SP 2016.

This is an opportunity to work on a highly visible and complex application development project that will meet USMS mission-critical needs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint applications. Design and develop web solutions using MS SharePoint Designer, MS Visual Studio, and MS InfoPath. Familiarity with C#, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, XML and other languages to build and maintain technical solutions. Develop custom tailored SharePoint workflows and data exports to provide maximum automation and availability of submitted data for reporting and metrics on all collected information. Develop Master Page, CSS file and site templates. Assist in the development of application design documentation. Gather and provide user stories with estimation of level of effort (LOE) and create schedule based on that LOE Assist in the development of training documentation and provide training when requested. Attend and contribute to SharePoint meetings and workgroups. Including but not limited to meetings with the SharePoint team and stakeholders to understand business processes. Work within the Agile methodology to implement and provide SharePoint solutions. Schedule and track project milestones including user acceptance testing, migrations between environments, SDLC gates, and deployment to production. Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Minimum of 6 years of experience working with SharePoint as a power user and developer Experience with: SharePoint 2013 MS SharePoint Designer MS Visual Studio MS InfoPath Familiarity with: C# jQuery JavaScript HTML, XML, ASP.NET
Desired Skills:

SharePoint 2016 Design Manager FLOW forms, templates, workflows Experience working on DoD or DOJ government contracts Experience working through a SharePoint migration Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Education:

Bachelors degree from an accredited university
Clearance: Public Trust
