We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Systems Engineer to work out of Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado.

This role is provides Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (AFTENCAP) systems engineering, technology development and project management support including technical assessment, planning, experiments, demonstrations, and prototyping of national to tactical intelligence systems capabilities including tactical sensor integration and multi-sensor SIGINT, ELINT, and GEOINT/OPIR fusion in direct support of warfighter requirements to enhance USAF and Joint warfighting capability and provides engineering and system integration support to AF TENCAP project initiation, planning, execution, programmatics, transition and close out activities.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, direction, evaluation, and success of AF TENCAP projects, systems development efforts, acquisition, and research and development technology initiatives involving the application of US National System capabilities in support of warfighter requirements. Provide engineering level expertise related to any or a combination of: Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) including Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) and Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), Measures and Signatures Intelligence (MASINT), national agency U.S.C. Title 50 intelligence system collection and dissemination architectures, communities and assets, USAF kinetic weapons deployed on combat aircraft, tactical data links, and air surveillance capabilities. Work with government and development contractor project managers executing systems engineering tasks including software and hardware integration, system performance monitoring, planning, scheduling, financial management, contracting, risk analysis, engineering, test and evaluation, and logistics planning. Leverage current and emerging technologies to enhance national capabilities of US and joint fighter, bomber, attack and ISR aircraft and munitions capabilities. Facilitate the transition of these capabilities, innovative concepts, technologies, and processes to the Warfighter through the planning, and evaluation of projects; project proof of concept demonstrations; rapid prototyping, testing and project quick reaction capabilities. Provide support by performing research on potential shortfalls of multiple systems associated with national systems and support AF TENCAP in identifying and evaluating current technologies for potential application against validated shortfalls/requirements. Plan and facilitate project evaluations, project proof of concept demonstrations, prototyping, testing and project quick reaction capabilities and facilitate the integration of operational systems into those projects. Support managing technical and special security activities, oversee technical cost, performance, and project schedule metrics of other contractor activities in the performance of AFTENCAP associated tasks and projects. Support transition and program integration activities; support transitioning of capabilities and technologies projects to other organizations, and advise the Government of the need, implications and technical actions required to achieve transition. Qualifications

Required Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in intelligence program support involving: SIGINT, ELINT, GEOINT, MASINT, NRO ground station operations, USAF kinetic weapon systems or Special Operations

Desired Skills:

Experience in the DOD intelligence environment or equivalent government agencies, with field level experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Business from an accredited university
Clearance: TS/SCI
