We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as the Department Head - Space Warfighting section to work on Peterson AFB in the National Security Space Institute (NSSI). The Department Head will manage all PWS-specified tasks in an integrated manner.
Responsibilities
Maintain the curricula and course material for the various courses and ensure the continuum of learning throughout all courses. Be responsible for ensuring the currency of all material across all courses and will ensure all applicable lessons, slides and material are updated in a timely manner Oversee course Discipline Leads and Directors ensuring they support the Department Head Oversee personnel to ensure all new/emerging information/material is identified and assist in all updates as appropriate. Ensure any substandard or outdated curriculum provided to the Deans is documented. Update the Program Manager on Department issues or concerns Have experience/knowledge in the following areas: PNT, Missile Warning/OPIR, SSA, Space Control, SATCOM, ISR, and SBEM. Be responsible for all instructor's lessons and material pertaining to the competencies below. Space Information Services (SIS) Launch Range Operations (LRO) Space System Sustainment (SSS) Intelligence (INT); Battle Management (BMG) Command and Control (C&C) Orbital Movement and Maneuver (OMM) Counterspace Fires (CFIR) Protection (PRO) Continuous Improvement (IMP) Mission Analysis (ANA) Tactical Problem Solving (TPS) Risk Informed Decision Making (RIDM) Adaptability (ADP) Warrior Ethos (ETH) Instructorship (INST) Acquisitions (ACQ) Tactics Development and Validation (TDV) Training Range Operations (TRO) Large Force Exercise Planning and Management (EXPM) Test and Evaluation (T&E) Infrastructure(INFS) Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 0 years of experience in Training/education
