We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as the Assistant Director of Academic Affairs to work on Peterson AFB in the National Security Space Institute (NSSI). The position will manage all PWS-specified tasks in an integrated manner.
This position is contingent on contract award.
Responsibilities
Assist in Institutional Effectiveness. Be responsible for administering and analyzing the Surveys and Evaluations of the courses taught. Conduct a Quarterly Course Review (QCR) and assess the results with each course director and the Chief of Institutional Effectiveness to ensure that courses meet the government's requirements for educational excellence and efficacy. Integrate, plan, evaluate and direct resource allocation processes into a sustained, ongoing, and comprehensive practice in all college activities. Report to the Commandant on a quarterly basis through quarterly course reviews (QCRs), to improve and refine courses, lessons, instruction, and support infrastructure. Initiate and coordinate the evaluation of college effectiveness toward fulfilling the mission of the NSSI through a comprehensive system of assessment, research and planning activities. Provide a foundation for coordinating reports and research that support planning and evaluation efforts. Ensure that continuous institutional evaluation and improvement are based on the evaluation and improvement model and use accurate information in decision making and strategic planning. Ensure that the effectiveness of the university's research process is evaluated regularly and that the results are used for improving processes and services. Support the Director of Academic Affairs by providing experience personnel capable of accomplishing the following tasks to include, but not limited: Registration Course Administration Instructional System Design Multi-Media Web Development System Engineering and Information Technology (IT) Support Space Power Lab (SPL) Services Resource Center, Space Weekly Space Pro Reading list Course Assessment Protocol Representative Network Engineer Integrated Logistics Support Inventory, Sparing Analysis Obsolescence Management Hardware/Software Licenses LMS Administrator Disposition/Demilitarization Facility Support Services Government Supervision of Contractors Employee Replacement/Backfill of Qualified Personnel and Base Support Update the Program Manager on issues or concerns Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Training/education

Education:
Masters degree from an accredited university
