Position Description
You will serve as an EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST (AIRFRAME) of the NAVAL AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGINEERING SERVICE COMMAND (NATEC) NV AIR TECHNICAL DATA AND ENGRG SVC.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will be responsible for providing field engineering and support of naval aviation weapon systems, equipment, and/or support equipment.You will be independently responsible for providing technical advice and assistance on the acceptance, installation, operation and/or maintenance of assigned aviation systems.You will advise technicians on methods of resolving troubleshooting problems, repairing difficult system malfunctions, research and analysis and resolving equipment problems.You will provide technical assistance by reviewing operation, maintenance and installation procedures and other technical data application to area of responsibility.You will prepare NATEC Technical Reports (NTR) and additional reports on subjects of interest or concern to other Fleet activities and commands.You will perform special project assignments related to assigned specialized information on new systems and equipment.
