Responsibilities
Senior Metrics and Data Analyst will develop and propose data sources and metrics for the following:
Measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Availability Process from planning through execution. Analyze the metrics results to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Availability Process. Develop and propose data sources and metrics for determining the root causes of CNO Availability extensions. As part of the root cause analysis, assist in determining strategies to mitigate CNO Availability extensions. Develop and propose data sources and metrics for determining the root causes of growth and new work impacting on CNO Availability durations. As part of the root cause analysis, assist in determining strategies to mitigate root causes of growth and new work. Develop and propose data sources and metrics for engineering analysis of existing data for life cycle maintenance strategy improvements. The Senior Metric and Data Analyst will coordinate with Commander, Naval Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) and Surface Team One (ST1) Metrics POCs to leverage existing metrics in support of making improvement recommendations
Qualifications
BA/BS in a Computer related field Five (5) years' experience in database design and management Five (5) years' experience in data analysis for complex projects Four (4) years active Naval service in maintenance or IT related billet Highly proficient and experienced with MS Office, especially Access, Excel and PowerPoint Highly proficient and experienced with Visual Basic for Application (VBA) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification required
