ICI Services is looking for motivated individuals who want to join our team in Oxnard, CA. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We need a Senior Combat Systems Systems Engineer/Project Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance Responsibilities:
Lead a team on the most complex engineering assignments
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation
Perform or oversee cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
Collaboratively develop and oversee analyses and testing at various lifecycle stages for products, including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Lead a Team to convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions while taking into account technical, schedule and cost constraints
Supervise teams performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Staff and resource teams to Model and develop computer based simulations
Oversee the investigation and resolution of obsolescence issues
Provide overall managerial and financial control and direction of contractor personnel supporting the program
Manage personnel staffing and budgeting for contractor team and track resource expenditures in support ot a project or projects
Develop written and oral technical and administrative reports
Experience Requirements:
10 years' professional experience in Systems Engineering / Project Management experience with Navy Weapon/Combat Systems and associated equipment
Educational Requirements:
Masters Degree in an applicable Engineering, Mathematics, Scientific, or Technology discipline is preferred
Bachelor Degree may be acceptable with an additional 2 years related experience
