Job Description:
ICI Services is looking for a motivated individual who would like to join our Team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Philadelphia, PA. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services and Technical Services to Government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We are looking for a Naval Logistician/Configuration Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.
Security Clearance:
Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance Responsibilities:
Assist in development and review of configuration documents, drawings and ILS support for propulsion and HM&E systems. Review ILS reports, attend ILS and Engineering meetings to determine key events that are taking place during the reporting period and updating ILS and Engineering department status reports and providing to the customer. Review incoming Naval messages and determine applicable actions required by specific offices. Prepare weekly CASREP Status reports and distribute. Perform inventories of Government Owned Material (GOM) and prepare status reports as required to the customer. Prepare ship out and transfer documents for GOM as requested by the customer. Responsible for receiving, storing and accounting for all certain Controlled Material requiring special handling (SS/L1, ESD sensitive, etc.) in accordance with various Government documents and MIL-Standards. Provide recommendations for improvements, corrections or updates for various reporting procedures as necessary that will streamline the reporting process of ILS/Engineering information. Experience Requirements:
Minimum of three to five years' experience dealing with Naval Combat, Engineering and Weapons Control Systems. Submarine experience is a plus. Experience with Haystack, One-Touch, OPNAVINST 4790.4E, Ship's Maintenance and Material management (3-M) System Policy and MIL-DTL-24784Cm Technical Manual, Preparation of Digital Technical Manual Information for IETMs is a plus. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate skills proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, to all levels of the customer organization. Educational Requirements:
