Overview
Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic is accepting applications for a Rental Sales Representative for our Washington D.C. territory.
Responsibilities
The Rental Representative is responsible for promoting the rental of Caterpillar Construction Equipment as well as affiliated allied equipment and attachments. Travels through assigned territory to meet customers and prospective customers to provide consultative machine recommendations and solicit rental contracts.
Qualifications
You must have prior success selling high-end durable products to business owners and corporate decision makers in a competitive market. You're mechanically inclined and comfortable discussing machinery. You excel at finding and closing new business and building relationships. You sell value instead of price and find ways to reach key decision makers, even in a formal bidding process. You would describe your selling style as consultative, possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have a proven track record of success. You are a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable selling a recognized brand and have a tremendous desire to earn over $100,000 within one to two years . You must have two years of sales experience, a valid driver's license, good driving record and be able to sell in the Washington D.C. area.
Experience with construction equipment, building materials, durable goods, trucks, technical products or other mechanical products preferred.
