Duties include editing lesson plans, grading tests, updating tests, planning, completing additional training, providing remedial assistance, and other administrative matters. The facilitator will train USTRANSCOM, FORSCOM, USAF, and SDDC students using TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction. The facilitator will support and complete self-contained Defense Transportation System and Deployment/Movement Management training products. Facilitators are fully responsible for the instruction of various courses and blocks of instruction that supports this area. Facilitators shall apply subject matter knowledge to recommend changes to POIs, lesson plans and acquisition and application of training aids and for automated deployment systems Facilitators shall support training objectives, complete, full-length courses (or major course units of comparable scope) to support Army Transportation and Deployment training requirements.
Skills Needed
Facilitator must have at least five years practical experience working as military Transportation Management Coordinator, Mobility Warrant Officer or Military Traffic Management background.
Facilitators shall take all necessary actions to acquire and maintain full technical competency on rapidly updated automated systems and to apply emerging tactics, techniques and procedures associated to Army doctrine change or CALL updates to formal courseware.
Facililator must demonstrate basic knowledge of the US Army Transportation Field through a combination of work experience, education, and training on various components and services.
Facilitators shall consult with Department Chief prior to updating training tools or products.
Minimum education level of one year of college.
Facilitator must have a certificate from both the DTR and Basic Freight or be able take the course and pass the course (80% passing rate).
Facilitator must have a minimum of one year of documented experience as a facilitator.
Will be proficient with MS Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
