Shift: Mon-Fri 7PM-3AM; OT & On-Call as needed

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

As a Sr. Facilities Maintenance Painter/Plaster you will provide general repair and maintenance services including: facilities maintenance and upkeep, facility mechanical system, and grounds inspections. You will perform and maintain all repairs, maintenance and upkeep of painted and plastered surfaces at all directed facilities. You will assist or perform installation of wallboard patch and plastering of walls associated with all new construction or projects as directed. You will be a vendor liaison for all service and contracted work at all facilities. You will assist management in ensuring all LifeNet Health facilities are free of hazards and defects as well as the efficient operation of the facility and its systems.

Important: You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift.

This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is responsible for ensuring that our Virginia Beach facilities meet the needs of the organization which allows our lifesaving and health restoring allografts to be properly and timely distributed to our patients around the globe.

What you'll do:
Performs repairs, patching, plastering and painting needed to support operations, construction projects and building upkeep.Performs facility and equipment inspections as scheduled and in accordance with established protocolsReviews work performed vendors and other departments for safety, accuracy and quality. Acts as a resource for proper maintenance techniques and complex problem solvingPerforms maintenance of facility equipment and mechanical systems, plumbing and electrical fixtures in accordance with established protocolsPerforms maintenance and repairs to ceiling, wall and trim work in accordance with established protocolsPerforms routine inspections of controlled environment areas and corrects all deficiencies. Performs general office area and controlled environment area filter replacement as scheduled.Ensures all controlled environment area systems and clean rooms are operating within specifications and are in good working order Acts as a liaison for service vendors for all on-site work. Oversees or assists all Trade technicians with repair work in respective fields
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):

High School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License and the ability to meet LifeNet Health's minimum requirements for driving a company vehicleFive (5) years' experience in hands on painting and plastering or related trade experienceProficient with all types of paint, painting techniques, wallboard and plastering processes
