2020 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
STRATEGIC SERVICES
Currently seeking students for our 2020 Internship Program located in Virginia Beach, VA. Accepting applications through February 28, 2020.
The LifeNet Health Summer Internship Program for 2020 is open to all students who are enrolled in fall classes as a junior or higher in a bachelor's degree or post-bachelor's degree program at an accredited university. Our program combines mentor relationships, active learning, project work, and leadership development opportunities in an eleven week experience. Internship program dates for 2020 are Wednesday, May 27 through Wednesday, August 11. This is a full-time internship program, 40 hours per week. You must be available the entire duration to qualify.

STRATEGIC SERVICES PROJECT:
Gather intelligence on Hospital IDN and GPO relationships in order for LifeNet Health to utilize the information to track and target sales opportunity within these health systems and to understand their relationships. The intern will gain an understanding of hospital purchasing and contracting mechanisms. He/she will work heavily in excel utilizing formulas and pivot tables while gaining an understanding of setting sales targets and methods for tracking.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's Degree program. Must be enrolled in Fall 2020 classes as a JUNIOR, SENIOR or GRADUATE level. Recent graduates do not qualify.Proficient in Excel or similar databases.
PAY & HOUSING:
LifeNet Health's internship program is a paid program with an hourly rate of $15/hour. The internship program is not eligible for relocation assistance. Relocation and/or housing will NOT be provided for this program
HOW WE'LL MEASURE YOUR SUCCESS:
At LifeNet Health, we all perform tasks critical to our mission, and it is no different for our interns. Each intern will be assigned to a project and your success in our program will be measured on the completion of this project and your completed final project presentation as delivered to our leaders. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in development opportunities (and your participation will be part of your program-ending evaluation.)
