Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking candidates for an Information Systems Specialist position supporting to support the AEGIS Technical Representative Professional Support Services Contract in Moorestown, NJ. The Information System Specialist is responsible to oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, verification & validation, and authorization processes necessary to assure that government systems meet the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Cybersecurity standards and requirements for DoD weapon systems. Ensure compliance to governing documents and security policies and assist in regulatory periodic assessments. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for secure implementation and compliance in accordance with government regulations and information assurance/cybersecurity guidelines.

Responsibilities
We are currently seeking candidates for an Information System Security Specialist position supporting to support the AEGIS Technical Representative (AEGIS TECHREP) Professional Support Services (PSS) Contract in Moorestown, NJ. The Information System Security Specialist is responsible for overseeing execution of Risk Management Framework (RMF) (Step 6) Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities for United States Navy (USN) Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) and Platform IT (PIT) systems operating at the VADM James H. Doyle, Jr. CSEDS.
Roles and responsibilities may include: • Coordinate ongoing maintenance and/or completion of documented system Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) entries and recurring System Level Continuous Monitoring (SLCM) activities with assigned Information System Security Officer (ISSOs) and Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) for all applicable accreditation boundaries on-site.• Periodically evaluate completed Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Scans and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Checklists, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM) reports, as part of a system's ConMon (RMF Step 6) lifecycle.• Interpret system POA&M vulnerabilities and mitigations, security control deficiencies, SLCM strategies, and all relevant RMF artifacts created for RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends and/or patterns via various ConMon data sources, and track/report ConMon metrics, when required.• Develop, document, and maintain position-specific and program level standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reporting Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) compliance across all applicable accreditation boundaries, and maintain internal document repositories for ConMon documentation/activities.• Provide support to ensure site ConMon program complies with DoD and USN authoritative requirements. • Periodically summarize pertinent ConMon activities, discussions, and decisions to Command ISSM and other Executive Leadership personnel, when required.• Participate in meetings, working groups, conferences, symposium, seminars, training sessions and collaboration teams and as a ConMon subject matter expert (SME).

Qualifications
Security Clearance:• US Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance.Education:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree, or• 3+ years of experience with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or other technical degree, or• 5+ years of experience with a High School DiplomaExperience:• 3-5 year of relevant experience in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, T&E, or A&A (formerly C&A) related field.Required Skills/Certifications:• Must meet DoDD 8140.01/DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certification Requirements (e.g. Security+, CISSP, CISA, CySA+, or other relevant Baseline Certification).• Strong understanding of the USN RMF process and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53 security controls• Experience and familiarity with using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).Desired Skills:• Familiarity with various cybersecurity/ConMon tools such as the Host Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM).• Fluent in MS Office Products (2-3 years' experience)
