Career Opportunity
We are currently seeking candidates for our Port Engineer position, located in Saudi Arabia within close proximity to the King Abdulaziz Naval Base. The Port Engineer is the in-Kingdom, on-site engineering subject matter expert and liaison with NAVSEA, Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF), and United States Military Training Mission (USMTM) for all engagements required under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreements between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States Government in the areas of RSNF Follow-On Technical Support, Sustainment, and Modernization efforts. The Port Engineer acts as the PMS 326 office representative and will work closely with the RSNF/Ship Repair Facility (SRF) for daily work direction.

Responsibilities
Provides recommendations for work items/packages in conjunction with the FMS Case requirements and coordinates procurement of recommended materials. Inspects machinery, equipment, or spaces outlined in work requests and recommends job specifications. Maintains coordination with RSNF POC, NAVSEA, and industrial partners to ensure resolution of technical issues. Investigates equipment casualties in coordination with NAVSEA and RSNF, if requested/required, to determine cause, and advises ship's officers on possible methods of operation to prevent recurrence of casualty. Coordinates work and information across diverse stakeholders, including the RSNF, SRF personnel (civilian and military), and representatives of supporting organizations such as USMTM. Assists NAVSEA and RSNF in the establishment of priorities of required maintenance and repair work, recommends scheduling and tracks progress through completion of the work. Assists NAVSEA and RSNF with defining workflows and processes, implementation and training, knowledge sharing, and process automation across all activities, processes, and functions associated with the life cycle support of ship systems and ships equipment. Conducts detailed analyses of operational and functional processes in order to discern the advantages and disadvantages of current design for HM&E and Combat Systems equipment. Obtains and provides RSNF managed drawings and technical documentation to NAVSEA PMS 326 to assist their efforts in planning and execution of approved projects. Assists NAVSEA and RSNF with various aspects of engineering design including human factors studies, engineering market research, engineering studies and assessments, prototyping, and systems integration. Assists NAVSEA and RSNF with performing systems analysis, engineering and program support to include conducting market surveys, performing analysis of data, establishing information sources, and managing the design, development, fabrication, and fielding of various systems.Travel
This position includes a low level of travel.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED equivalent. A minimum of 10 years demonstrated expertise in shipboard Combat Systems maintenance and operations. Five years' experience with Shipyard New Construction, or in-service availability planning and execution for Surface Combatant platforms. Five years' FMS/OCONUS experience. Experience in engineering change proposals, alterations, and change requests. Experience in platform centric integrated logistics support, financial planning, cost and budget analysis, quality control and assurance, testing, operations, maintenance, supply, and training. Demonstrated knowledge in legacy systems common to ex USN FFG-7 class vessels such as: MK 92 Fire Control System MK 6 Mod 1 DRA MK 75 MOD 0 Gun Weapon System AN/WSN-2 Gyroscope (Or WSN7/MK39 Ring laser Gyrocompasses) AN/SLQ-32 MK 15 CIWS Block 0 thru 1B MK 24 Target Designators AN/SPS-55 Radar AN/SQS-56 Sonar AN/SSQ-61/61A XBT Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Port engineer experience with Navy and Navy maintenance processes is highly desired.
Qualifications
Must possess a valid Driver's License. Demonstrates proficiency in the generation of engineering reports and analyses (reports and analyses may include data on selected ships, systems or and/or information relative to Saudi Arabian ships, systems, equipment's, spares and future supportability). Demonstrates knowledge of all shipboard systems, including HM&E, Combat Systems, and Communications. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration
US Navy 3M Manager/Coordinator is desired.
