Job Description:
SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia's Best Places to Work, is looking for a Cross Domain Solution Engineerto join our team to perform accreditation and software engineering tasks to support the implementation of Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
Responsibilities:
- Support CDS integration and Site-Based Security Assessment (SBSA)
- Develop and maintain test support tools, applications and data
- Coordinate Information Assurance (IA) and other accreditation documentation
- Maintain software security
- Perform CDS risk analysis
- Ensure CDSs are functioning and operated consistent with the accreditation and policies
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 or more year of experience with Cross Domain Solutions
- Experience with creating and maintaining rule sets
- Experience with either Hardware Wall or Radiant Mercury
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience using Visio
- Experience with Cisco and Brocade switches
- CCNA Certification
- IAT Level II or Security + certification is required within 6 months after the start date
Education:Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an
engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
