SUMMARY:
In support of our Department of Defense (DoD) client’s mission to provide enterprise network operations and computer network defense, the successful candidate will provide SCSM support to the Enterprise Service team.
The Senior System Center Service Manager (SCSM) Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the global enterprise SCSM platform used for the management of Incidents, Problems, Changes, Service Requests, Automation Request, collaborating with management, application technical support analysts and developers, internal and external support teams, both CONUS and OCONUS, for solving issues, architecting, configuring, and delivering system improvements and reports. The individual will leverage their experience to provide reporting analytics to facilitate queue management and on-going improvements.
This role also has responsibility for supporting the other System Center components including Operations Manager, Configuration Manager, and Orchestrator, as necessary.

DUTIES:
Perform administrative tasks from the Service Manager console, provide application support for the SCSM platform and create and maintain services and associated data.Review and update SCSM console security, apply patches, create SCSM console roles and reviews, and create and install custom Management Packs (MP) as needed.Develop reports and dashboards as approved by managementDeploy workflows for common processesGrant permissions to allow responsible groups to manage resources and work queuesCreate and maintain Service Manager templatesCreate, modify and troubleshoot SCSM workflowsUtilize verbal and written communication skills to maintain accurate system documentation and provide training as requiredManage customer satisfaction through effectively communicating and managing customer expectations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Certifications:
5+ years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment.Understanding of the other System Center Products and how they integrate with SCSM: System Center Configuration Manager System Center Orchestrator, System Center Operations Manager.System Center Orchestrator Experience, Deployment and Infrastructure, integrating a Run Book with SCSM, Creating and troubleshooting Run Books Experience with System Center Operations Manager 2012ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Skills (Must Have):
IAT III certification (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CASP, or CISSP (or Associate))Technical Skills (Preferred):
Advance knowledge of PowerShell scriptingExperience with Structured Query Language (SQL)Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services\\DatazenExperience with major Microsoft technologies including PC and Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL Server, and OfficeKnowledge of server virtualization technologiesExperience with ITIL Foundations, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Request ManagementWORKING CONDITIONS:
Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.

Strength Demands: Light – 20 lbs. Maximum lifting with frequent lift/carry up to 10 lbs. A job is light if less lifting is involved but significant walking/standing is done or if done mostly sitting but requires push/pull on arm or leg controls.
