The Human Resources Assistant will perform diversified duties related to the processing and monitoring of all employee records. You will work within ECRM, ERP (SAP), HRIS (Dayforce), and other systems. They will have responsibilities within SAP, working on purchase requisitions and following up on invoices and payments.  Within the challenging and diversified group of duties, you will also provide direct support to the VP, Human Resources and other members of the HR team.

Responsibilities : 20% - Facilitates onboarding and offboarding:
Coordinates new hire orientations and Exit Interviews.   Maintains new hire orientation and exit interview documents. Verify employment eligibility (E-Verify). Set up new hires in Dayforce. 20% - Invoicing and expense reporting:
Works closely with the finance Accounts Payable Team to ensure all invoices are paid within the terms of the invoice, entering PR's and receiving PO's. Process monthly expense reports for VP HR. 20% - Administrative support and coordination:
Assists the VP, Human Resources under the direction of the Human Resources Manager. Administrative support to Recruiting, Comp & Benefits, and Employee Development as needed. Maintain & coordinate monthly service awards. 20% - Record retention, data management, and reporting:
Setup & maintain employee personnel files in line with company policies and government regulations. Retains records in line with company record retention requirements. Records changes on all employee status as necessary. Provides backup to the SR HR Assistant in maintaining the organizational chart in ECRM as well as the weekly employee census. Maintain work comp claims in insurance provider database. Verifies employment and medical insurance for employees. Assist with EEO1 and affirmative action reporting.   15% - Systems Support:
Working consistently with IT to fix/update any hierarchy and workflow issues. Updates changes to the HR page on ECRM as needed.   5% - Other duties as assigned

Qualifications : (Degree/Certifications/License/Experience/Specialized Knowledge/Skills)
Education/Experience -
High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 3-5 years administrative or human resources experience. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities -
Proficient clerical/computer skills with knowledge of various computer applications/programs including but not limited to MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with HRIS or ERP (SAP) system highly desired. Tact, solid communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers. Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees. Ability to maintain confidential information. Highly motivated, self-starter, friendly personality, and good team player. Customer-focused, excellent response time, detail-oriented and flexible.   Strong multitasking and follow-up skills, the ability to be an innovative contributor and share ideas to help improve the department and the company.

Sitting, standing, stooping, reaching, looking at computers.

Working Conditions :
95% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 5% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors' and/or internal customers' sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
