Scope of Job : Your primary responsibilities will include the certain tasks relating to billing invoices and booking of the company's accounts receivables, primarily in the operations and maintenance but for other business segments as needed. It may also include reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness, sorting documents by account name or number and processing payments and credit memos in the Company's internal accounting system. In this position, you may perform other duties associated with the accounts receivable function including review and administration of sales and service orders, posting transactions to journals, record keeping and maintenance of physical and electronic records, exception management and other record keeping duties associated with Billing and Accounts Receivable.
Responsibilities : 80% - Full cycle billing and accounts receivables, including (but not limited to): Sales and service order processing; Invoice production; Credit memo production; and Cash application. 5% - Execution of and upholding the written objectives of the EDFR Total Quality Management process documentation; 5% - Support the Senior Technician in SAP User Acceptance Testing for processes that impact Billing and A/R; 5% - Assist external vendor stakeholders with ad hoc requests, statement audits or confirmations of outstanding receivables including reconciliation of credit balances; and 5% - Other duties as assigned. Supervision of Others : None required.
 

Qualifications :
Education/Experience -
High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred; Computerized accounts receivable experience preferred; and Familiarization with an enterprise cash application process.  
 
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities -
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially as it relates to vendor management and customer service; Superb organizational, analytical and development skills; Familiar with various software programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel; and Highly motivated, self-starter, friendly personality, and good team player.  
Physical Requirements : Ability to work in a standard office environment to include use of a desk, computer, with normal movement to other internal stakeholder desks/offices/meeting rooms and auxiliary functions (such as printers, photocopiers) within the EDFR premises.
 
Working Conditions :

100% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers as well as other office equipment. Frequent use of phones, general office equipment and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite products is required. The Accounting team utilizes the SAP enterprise software for its purchasing, accounts payable, and all daily bookkeeping functions.
