Responsible for conducting as appropriate the RFI/RFP creation, solicitation, evaluation, selection recommendation, as well as issuing resulting awarded framework orders and the accompanying agreements, lifecycle management. Day-to-day vendor management within an assigned commodity group of goods & services for our renewable energy generated sites while ensuring overall objectives, procurement strategies, and compliance requirements.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
30% - Develop and manage assigned RFI/RFP through creation, solicitation, evaluation analysis, and as appropriate selection process, agreement negotiation, approvals, award, performance, to term or termination.
 
25% - Manage and issue framework purchase orders directly to vendors in accordance to company policy and compliance requirements.
 
10% - Control and manage the commercial strategy, objectives, and compliance requirements within the assigned commodity group, as well as conducting sourcing events and market awareness support as needed.
 
10% - Manage alliance with approved suppliers which include negotiate pricing, delivery-to-want, issues resolution, quality assurance, and performance reviews.
 
5% - Own and manage the Procure-to-Pay process and surrounding functions as assigned. To include the vendor on-boarding process and associated requirements.
 
5% - Work with cross-functional teams to support; defining requirements, supplier selections / analysis / negotiations and ongoing savings initiatives.
 
5% - Coordinate and engage with cross-functional teams to achieve overall team goals and objectives.
   
5% - Participate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve: team goals and objectives, drive continuous improvements, and accomplish cost reduction targets and objectives.
 
5% - Other related duties as assigned.
 
 
Key Qualifications:
 



Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or University
Minimum of five years related supply chain experience; or eight plus years of related progressive supply chain experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Contract negotiation training and progressive experience
Solid relationship building and interpersonal skill-set with suppliers, internal & external customers, peers, and cross-functional teams.
Ability to read, perform analysis, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Capable of writing reports, business correspondence, presentations, and procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Advanced functional knowledge and experience in MS Office and SAP and/or Oracle applications.
 
Desirable Qualifications:
 
ISM or APICS professional certification
Six Sigma certification or working knowledge
Contract negotiation / management certification
Renewable Energy experience    
 
Working Conditions:
Typically, 90% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. With 10% of time spent outside the office visiting vendors and/or internal customers, in additional to attending training and/or conferences.
