The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Maintenance Operations Superintendent providing staff support to unit maintenance activities including but not limited to contingency/war/mobility planning; budgeting maintenance planning and scheduling, productivity data analysis and training, maintenance operations center, maintenance supply support; manpower; support agreements.

U.S. Citizenship is required Required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. lncumbent's regular assignments are primarily ART duties: however, the incumbent may be assigned some non-ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standards; for additional information refer to the General Schedule (GS) qualifications link: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualificationstandards/. Position requirements vary dependent upon the specific series and grade, you must meet any minimum experience or training requirements per OPM qualifications standards and show through experience and/or training that you possess the quality level of knowledge, skill and ability necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which applying.

The DETAILED description of your work experience in your personal resume must clearly demonstrate that you have gained and currently possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfactorily perform the duties of the position and grade being filled. When qualifying based on education and/or training, all transcripts and/or certifications must be submitted at the time of application.

EDUCATION: Some positions may require "Basic Education" depending on the series and grade level of the position. If you are applying to positions based on your education or a combination of education and experience, your transcripts are required at the time of application to receive consideration.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
