IPKeys Technologies is looking for a Machine Maintenance Mechanic in support of a program for the Naval Air Command, located at NAS Lakehurst, NJ. This is a position with the Prototype and Manufacturing Division machine maintenance team at NAVAIR Lakehurst. This position would be for a mechanic with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, troubleshooting skills that possesses the skills to perform manual and CNC machine repair, installation, and removal.
Responsibilities
The candidate needs to diagnose and repair production machines; e.g. mills, lathes, etc. The candidate will work with fine, critical dimensions for almost every part. Candidates must have the patience to make repeated measurements and adjustments when aligning parts. References documents may include sketches, diagrams, blueprints, written specifications, or oral instructions (i.e. repairs may be made without written instructions). The candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings.
Qualifications
The candidate must be able to use precision measuring devices including micrometers, vernier gauges, and various other gauges are used to measure dimensions and verify the proper adjustment of the machine. The candidate should have basic computer skills which will enable the ability to update a database which tracks maintenance activities, research parts on the internet, and use MS Office e-mail and other MS Office products. All candidates must pass a CDL physical before being hired with annual retest and they must have the ability to lift 50 lbs (more is preferred). Safety shoes are required on the first day. Safety glasses will be provided.

Education
GED or High School diploma.
Security
