Job Title: Program Manager / Project Manager (Sr)

The Program Manager / Project Manager (Sr) possess knowledge and experience with Agile program and project management and associated administrative skills. The program manager shall provide program and project management support in the following areas: risk management, integrated schedule management, performance metrics, and document management. In addition, and shall support the facilitation of effective governance, cross-project integration, performance monitoring and the implementation of Agile security processes. While the PM will serve in traditional and Agile program management roles and functions, he/she may also be matrixed to focus on specific task requirements.

The Program Manager / Project Manager (Sr) shall be responsible for the following: Apply industry and Government standards and best practices as appropriate in the service areas specified in this SOW. Attend weekly status meetings with the Government Program and Project Managers. Coordinate quarterly/monthly Program Management Review meetings with Government staff and Contractor management staff. Ensure that Agile approaches are established and maintained on the program and associated projects and reflected in the team's approach. Establish Agile measurements of progress such as Kanban boards are used and kept up to date. Ensure use of enterprise standard enterprise planning and tracking tools. Utilize processes that ensure continuity of operations and smooth transition of the management responsibilities throughout the life of the contract. Support all Security Authorization Process, Security Control Assessment and Ongoing Authorization activities as required and as directed by the Federal Government. Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success Perform other duties as assigned by the Government

Requirements: Must be a US Citizen with a DoD Secret Clearance A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in managing Security Operations A minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects and programs Active PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent or higher certification Active ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification or other comparable certification which must be approved in advance by the Government PM (on a case-by-case basis) Be staffed in the Washington DC metropolitan area Fluent knowledge of Agile development and management methodologies Listening skills, the ability to detect explicit and implicit needs and wants Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints Ability to work independently and function as an integral part of the team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated interviewing and negotiation skills applicable to identifying, defining, and evaluating requirements
