Job Description:
The Windows/SCCM Administrator will provide all activities related to the administration of Windows OS servers and workstations for our DoD customer in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities include: Responsible for supporting Enterprise Windows management infrastructure utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, Group Policy, and WSUS Maintain health of the enterprise through the deployment of patches and updates via SCCM Provide implementation, administration, and configuration support for an SCCM Enterprise environment Utilize SCCM software package delivery and operating system image creation and deployment Perform functional and root-cause analysis for customer's system configuration issues and provide support as needed Develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components for mid- to large-sized projects Determine and develop approach to solutions Provide consistent follow-up on incidents/changes/tasks until final objectives are completed Perform installation, maintenance, and support of system software/hardware and provides user support Identify key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal with complex situations Perform engineering and roll-out implementation, configuration, debugging and support for multiple platforms Work independently with minimal guidance and collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes Deliver weekly status updates to leadership Monitor and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved Required Qualifications: Five (5) + years of Systems Administration/SCCM experience Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of equivalent experience DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certified (CCNA-Security, CompTIA Security+CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) AND Operating System (OS)/Computing Environment (CE) certification Active Secret Clearance or Interim Secret Clearance (Must be a US Citizen)
