SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
 
Will be responsible for determining our customers' needs and priorities, crafting technical solutions responsive to those needs, helping to shape customer acquisitions, and positioning Sev1Tech to win. Provides focus and drives business development in the execution of all Cloud support services for a strategic account/customer for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Civilian and Department of Defense using our IDIQ contract vehicles Army ACCENT, Army's RS3, GSA OASIS and GSA IT 70 track. This role simultaneously oversees all aspects of several near and long-term opportunity developments.
Serving as the Business Development/Capture Manager for all Cloud opportunities in the federal marketplace, the ideal candidates will act as the ambassador to the customer and single point of contact as the customer's representative within Sev1Tech. You will lead the delivery of our written and oral technical proposals.
The second part of this position is to be hands on in building and managing cloud based eco systems. Must have that hands-on technical ability.
 
Clearance Preference : Top Secret or Secret
 
Certifications/Skillsets : AWS certification required
 
Optional certifications desired : Azure certified, Cisco Certified, PMP, ITIL, CISSP
 
Position Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead technical solution strategy throughout the Capture and Proposal lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission Work Headquarters Growth/Proposal Team staff to identify and cultivate potential pipeline and organic growth as well as related opportunities pertaining to solicitations coming out of Army's ACCENT, Army's RS3, GSA OASIS Pool 1 & 3 and GSA IT 70 Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and development of key opportunities on our large IDIQ vehicles Develop a multi-million dollar qualified pipeline of at least (>$5 million annual recurring revenue. Accountable for achieving annual targets for identification and qualification of profitable pursuits. Conducting customer visits and perform research to understand current and emerging customer needs and requirements. Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships plus assess competitor capabilities generally aligned to specific customers. Work with cross-functional and operational teams to balance resource priorities to ensure consistent progress through marketing solutions, teaming and pricing elements of the capture plan. Leads capture management and works with the Proposal Team in the development and evaluation of the technical and management content and contractual compliance of proposals. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new cloud technologies Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, company management and departmental clients. Assists in internal training programs Must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills  
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
At least 6+ years of cloud engineering business development and technical experience of Medium to Large enterprise systems environments (preferably in DHS, Military or DOD environments):
Cloud Architecture Network Architecture and Engineering Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering Infrastructure Engineering & Operations Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Ensure integration of technical solution with all sections and volumes of the proposal Review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposals Author Technical volume introductions, key sections and orals slides including developing compelling graphics Creative thinking, problem solving, time management and organizational skills Strong human relations skills Experience with Cloud Identity and Access Management Additional preferred experience:
Proficiency in AWS, Azure, O365, IBM SoftLayer, Oracle, and SalesForce Public and Private Cloud Experience with Cloud Service Routers (CSR) Experience building Secure Cloud Interconnect (SCI) Experience migrating from legacy on-prem networking to the Cloud Networking  
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Systems, or other related discipline. Education requirement may be substituted with an additional 4 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment:
Woodbridge, VA HQ Possibility for the right candidate to work remotely with some travel to HQ offices in Denver, CO or Woodbridge, VA  
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
 
Travel:
TBD based on customer interfacing and presentations.
