Applicants are limited to two (2) location preference selections.

These positions are located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in various locations and provide support in the area of consumer protection.

Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill identical vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.

Conducts compliance examinations/reviews/audits at financial institutions for technical compliance with federal consumer protection laws and evaluates compliance management systems, including Board and management oversight, policies and procedures, training, monitoring/audit, and consumer complaint response programs.
Conducts fair lending reviews at financial institutions to determine if the bank engages in discriminatory lending practices.
Evaluates financial institutions’ performance pursuant to the Community Reinvestment Act.
Conducts meetings with bank officials and/or boards of directors to gather information and discuss examination/review/audit findings and obtain commitment for corrective actions.
Prepares written reports summarizing examination/review/audit findings.
