Test Engineer III Job duties:
You will be responsible for maximizing new product development and manufacturing performance through the creation and deployment of test software strategies, tools, and plans. Design and implement high performance test software for automated testing. Ensure high product quality.
• Prepare components prior to assembly, clean components, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies
• Set up and operate assigned equipment and machinery
• Observe proper health and safety procedures in handling hazardous chemicals
• Identify and report to lead or supervisor any difficulty which would affect the correctness and
quality of the work in process
• Participate in cleaning of area and machinery and take part in team meetings for improvement
• Cross-train to work on at least 3 products
• Complete job-related company training courses
• Support Business System (CBS) initiatives including 5S, KPI's, Standard Work, Problem
Solving, and other initiatives as they arise
• Understand and/or participate with internal/external audits
• Perform inventory cycle counts

Qualifications:
• Experience: 5+ years. Previous work experience as a software developer. Experience in
aerospace or medical electronics industry preferred.
• Knowledge: Software development and verification knowledge and experience using computer
science principals. Documentation requirements analysis, requirements development and test
procedure development. Communication Interfaces (e.g. ARINC429, CAN, RS232, I2C)
LabVIEW and TestStand experience, certification preferred.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to apply good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively
lead and/or participate in multi-functional teams in a dynamic work environment. Ability to
manage multiple tasks and flexibility to switch between tasks.
• Education/Certification: Degree in computer science preferred, electrical engineering, mechanical
engineering, physics or related technical discipline required.
