Job Description:

Our research and development projects cover the spectrum of security technologies for Computer Network Operations. If it runs code, somebody in our office has looked at it.

Key areas of focus include:

• Reverse Engineering
• Hypervisor Research & Development
• Wireless and Network Communications
• Mobile / Embedded Development
• Windows / Linux Kernel Development
• Malware

Candidates must be able to play both sides of the fence, both defeating and developing new and advanced security techniques. Projects will be undertaken in small teams with close coordination with customers to quickly enhance capabilities or resolve issues in existing tools.

Information security continues to be a growth industry and we are constantly looking to find the right candidates who can do this challenging work.

Requirements:
• Software development experience in C/C++
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python or Ruby)
• Strong foundations in computer architecture and operating systems
• An understanding of Software Development best practices - software testing, Software Configuration Management (SCM), Bug Trackers, etc...
• A minimum of 2 years of applicable experience


Highly Desirable:
• Strong understanding with Git
• Detailed understanding of Computer Networking (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL)
• Fluency in other programming languages (e.g., Lua, go, Haskell, etc...)
• Knowledgeable in Information Security attack and defense
• Proficient in one or more assembly languages (x86, ARM, etc...)
• Familiarity with PE/ELF file formats, linkers, and compilers
• Experience solving Capture-the-Flag (CTF) challenges
• Embedded development/reverse engineering experience
• Systems programming (Kernel, Hypervisor, Distributed Applications, etc...) experience
• (Active) U.S. Government Security Clearance

As the majority of our customers are government agencies, all candidates must meet the minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required. All candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Education:
Degrees are not required for our positions, but they can be helpful. Certifications are neither helpful nor required.
