Responsibilities include:
-Manage the programming and budget (PPBES/POM) associated with soldier systems; coordinate and manage requirements (JCIDS) and interface with the Acquisition community/Program Offices to manage various RDTE and production programs. Combat Arms background (Infantry preferred but not required). Shall have operational experience in Armor, Infantry or Stryker heavy or light Army combined arms formations and procedures associated with these tactical formations and expertise to specific programs to be supported. Programs can include but are not limited to combat vehicles, soldier weapons, soldier sensors and robotics.
- 8 years HQDA Force Development (defined as: Budgeting: POM/PPBES, Requirements: JCIDS, ONS, CDD's etc, and Defense Acquisition System/Program Mgmt) experience or equivalent. Experience on Pentagon/DoD staff or Acquisition assignment is preferred
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years force development related experience w/in the Dept of Defense; 3 of which must be direct HQDA or equivalent experience
- Possess a valid/active security clearance of Secret
