Lynch is actively seeking logistics experts for professional opportunities to grow our firm serving the Washington D.C metro area, San Diego, CA, or Norfolk, VA.
Security Requirement: Must have a current secret security clearance
Availability requirement: 60 to 90 days required to accommodate interview/hiring process
Responsibilities
Successful candidates will establish a vibrant partnership with our Federal and Military Service clients to provide high-impact consulting in support of Naval Logistics. You will work directly with our clients to perform analysis, provide guidance and recommendations, and directly assist the government to master a high-visibility program. You will collaborate with exceptionally sharp, motivated, colleagues and team partners to perform meaningful tasks. You will have the opportunity to shape, develop, and lead business verticals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with transportation and logistics issues.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a logistics portfolio, logistics advocacy, strategic communications, and other logistics modernization initiatives.
• Project Manager Professional (PMP) certified
• Minimum 5 years of military tactical and operational logistics experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrates ability to lead diverse teams in a dynamic Military Service environment.
• Demonstrates expertise with the Defense Transportation System (DTS) and global mobilization of freight.
• Demonstrates expertise with material logistics to include financial matters.
• Demonstrates expertise with the Defense Personal Property Program including household goods consolidation and standardization efforts.
• Demonstrates understanding of military logistics portfolios, data management, logistics advocacy, strategic communications, and other logistics modernization initiatives.
• Demonstrates expertise in managing DoD projects and programs related to logistics initiatives and/or technology development/integration.
• Demonstrates experience with operational procedures and factors that impact the implementation of innovative concepts within the DoD.
• Demonstrates experience with DoD projects and programs related to logistics initiatives and/or technology development/integration.
