The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) is the US Department of Defense (DoD) point for research, development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of biological, chemical and nuclear defense equipment and medical countermeasures to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command. We are seeking a Property Accountability Officer to support the JPEO-CBD under the upcoming JE-OPETS contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for all standard and non-standard equipment transferred to the customers within the JPEO-CBD portfolio.

Candidates must have a current SECRET clearance.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelors Degree is Logistics/Engineering/Supply Chain Management/Business Management with 8 years general experience and 5 years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 10 years general experience and 7 years relevant experience

In depth understanding of all aspects of transferring developed product to end users

Experience working CBRN equipment transfer/fielding and associated audits

Strong experience with maintaining property books and developing scheduling procedures

JPEO CBD experience highly desirable

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities

Performs quality planning as it pertains to equipment transfer

Conducts quality assurance audits and reviews

Develops and documents quality control policies and procedures for equipment transfer

Maintains property books, hand receipts and accountability for all standard and non-standard equipment transfers

Provides quality assurance oversight and support to for equipment transfer for programs within the JPEO-CBD portfolio and external agencies
