The Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) is the US Department of Defense (DoD) point for research, development, acquisition, fielding and life-cycle support of biological, chemical and nuclear defense equipment and medical countermeasures to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command. We are seeking CBRN Logistics Management Specialists to support the JPEO CBD Joint Project Manager, Guardian under the upcoming JE-OPETS contract. The successful candidate will be providing direct support to the JPEO in the planning, coordinating and execution of logistics efforts and managing data, training packages and logistics deliverables.

Candidates must have a current SECRET clearance.

Education and Experience Required

Bachelors Degree in Logistics/Engineering/Business Management with 8 years general experience and 5 years relevant CBRN related experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Experience supporting logistical planning and development strategies for CBRN systems/equipment

Experience with performance-based logistics

Experience in developing fielding plans

Experience in developing logistics demonstration plans

Responsibilities
Review and check technical documents for revisions and changes (TM & ST) as well as training documentation changes Review CALS Milestone B Documentation (i.e. CDD) for logistics Review and revise CALS ESOH documentation (i.e. PESHE) Review and revise Turn-in Documentation for Mobile Lab Team Fielding (i.e. Form 2062s & 3061s) Draft the initial JILA assessment of ESOH and Facilities sections Revise monthly progress on the ESOH and Facilities sections of the JILA reporting Assist the JILA process by coordinating input to the reporting process for other sections Function as the logistics lead for all projects. Develops, establishes, implements and maintains plans, schedules, controls, instructions and procedures related to the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Coordinate the preparation of logistics, supportability, personnel and training portions of system acquisition plans, new material release documents, material fielding plans, operating manuals and system transition plans for CBRNE mobile laboratories Participate in multiple Integrated Product Teams to ensure ILS elements are addressed in the acquisition, training, testing, fielding and sustainment of mobile laboratories Lead the effort to validate and verify changes to procedures found in CBRNE MEL Technical Guides for 20th SUPCOM and the Analytical Laboratory System (ALS) Technical Manual for the National Guard Bureau Lead the effort to develop, validate and place in the Army document system Technical Manuals and Special Text documents for all Programs of Record Lead for JPM Guardian and coordinate the process for Programs of Record from Milestone B to Fielding Be the coordinating point of contact for all JILA related reviews and evaluations Coordinate all levels of training activities (i.e. needs assessment, material development and execution) Develop and track schedule and cost activities related to training activities and report status to the JPM Guardian planning group
