Job Description:
A Senior Training Specialist supports the following tasks:
(1) Plan and conduct Fires Digital Sustainment Training. This requires a minimum of 1 year experience in operating and developing Patriot gunnery tables 1-12 for training scenarios in Reconfigurable Table Top Trainers (RT3); knowledge of Patriot Air and Missile Defense Air Battle Management at the Battalion ICC and Battery ECS and BCP levels; knowledgeable of the ADAFCO role and the integration of ADAFCOs into RT3 training.
(2) Plan and conduct Fires Digital Sustainment Training.
(3) Plan and conduct Exercise Support.
(4) Plan and perform Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Support.
(5) Plan and conduct Training Support.
The Senior Training Specialist provides leadership, is considerably more knowledge than the entry and mid-level Training Specialist, and prepares training documents and services that are required to support classroom or equipment training. Draws input from Test Engineers, Systems Analysts, Training Specialists, Logisticians and the Government. Supervises the activity of the Training Specialist. Shall have an understanding of DoD Training and Doctrine policies and issues. Maintains contact with appropriate service training and doctrine commands and agencies to insure that the training meets the needs of the customer.
Experience levels are generally expected to indicate from 0-5 years performing relevant tasks for “entry level” personnel, 5-12 years for “mid-level” personnel, and 12 years for “senior” personnel, but may vary based on company policies, types of jobs help, levels of responsibility exercised, and educations levels).
