Job Description:

TASK DESCRIPTION
This Lead Technician will be in direct support of the Officer-in-Charge of the Missile Maintenance Repair Facility (MMRF). The AGM-65 Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the oversight and enhancement of all Kuwait Air Force (KAF) programs and other issues related to the AGM-65 Missile Program. As the senior on-site Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) Lead, is responsible for all activities related to the AGM-65 Missile Maintenance Program, including meeting contract requirements and ensuring that relationships between subordinates and customer personnel are professional and harmonious at all times. Responsibilities include assist in developing all required Ordnance Safety instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and programs and provide program management advice based on OPNAVINST 8000.16 Series. NAVSEA OP-5 and AGM-65 Missile Maintenance publications/instructions. Training and informing KAF technicians assigned.

TASK REQUIREMENTS
1. Advise and assist the KAF in revising and updating the KAF AGM-65 Missile Maintenance Program and other applicable directives, including implementation and monitoring to include development of all required weapons safety/maintenance programs, facilities planning and management.

2. Advise and assist the KAF in the establishment of training and safety programs for KAF AGM-65 technicians. Lead will oversee all assigned CMS missile Technicians and act as the AGM-65 Quality Assurance representative.

3. Assist in preparing briefing papers and correspondence for U.S. Government and KAF as required or requested.

4. Actively participate in the development and publication of policies and procedures that are required to maintain and administer the AGM-65 Missile Maintenance Program.

5. Provide input for meetings and contract reviews with US and Kuwait Government representatives.

6. Provide liaison to and from the MMRF Advisors concerning employee health, welfare, morale and policy.

7. Ensure enforcement of and compliance with United States Navy, KAF and Company directives as appropriate. Review and appraise the performance of subordinate personnel.

Basic qualifications:
1. Shall have five years experience in positions related to AGM-65 Missile Maintenance, and material support, three years of which are desired to have been at a Mobile Maintenance Facility, Depot Missile Facility or Weapons Test Facility field site or secondary locations. Shall possess significant experience in production and personnel management.
2. Must have served in the United States Navy/United States Marine Corp/United States Air Force as an E-7 or above or GS-4/9 with experience in explosive safety and computer skills.
3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
4. Secret security clearance required
