Ironclad Technology Services LLC, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business has an opening for a Database
Developer to join our growing company in Virginia Beach, VA. Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will
be considered for this position. An Active Secret Clearance is required.
This position will join a software engineering and development group that is currently supporting multiple
Department of Defense clients. The current team is developing and maintaining financial information systems,
data warehouses, business intelligence systems, and performance management systems.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
• Collect requirements and translate into the design and construction of databases and reports
• Apply knowledge of database programming principles, database queries, and report writing to develop and
deliver solutions in a timely manner
• Contribute to the maintenance of existing systems and develop enhancements for existing and new
systems.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline like Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related
technical field and five years of relevant experience
• The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to learn new skills/technologies quickly. The candidate must
also possess good communication skills and work well in both team and self-managed environments.
• Understanding of, or interest in, Navy financial management reporting practices, supply chain management
and audit readiness initiatives.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to maintain Secret Clearance
• DOD-8570 IAT-II Certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)
• Two Years of Experience: o Defining data structures (tables, views, procedures, functions, and indexes) using Relational
Database Management System (RDBMS) data definition language (DDL) statements
o Manipulating data using data manipulation language (DML) statements and query languages like
SQL, PL/SQL, t-SQL, or MySQL
o Using report writing tools like SSRS, Cognos BI, Business Objects, LogiXML, or other tools
• One Year of Experience:
o Describing processes that use data to include workflow and business process modeling
o Developing web content using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Working Knowledge of:
o Utilizing different databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle
o Database front end tools like Toad for Oracle, Toad for MySQL, and MS SQL Server Management

o Loading flat files into databases with the ability to parse and scrub the data
