About City of Virginia Beach, Public Utilities Engineering

The Virginia Beach Public Utilities Engineering Department provides the engineering support necessary to provide for the efficient planning, review, expansion, modification, and coordination of the City of Virginia Beach water and sanitary sewer utility infrastructure. The quality assurance inspections of all utility work installed by private development activity or as a result of the Capital Improvement Program are also handled by this division.
