The CVS Store Management Development Program starts with our Phase 1 course, which provides comprehensive training in store operations procedures. This training takes place at one of our specialized training stores in your local area.

After successfully completing Phase 1, you progress to Phase 2, a learner controlled structure where you receive the training necessary to take operational control of a CVS/pharmacy store. This training is held in several stores in your local area and is monitored by a Training Manager. Successful completion of Phases 1 and 2 and promotion to Store Manager can happen within 1-3 years! Our Phase 3 development program is available to Store Managers. Future career opportunities are found in areas such as district management, Human Resources and Loss Prevention.
