Job Description:
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Systems Integration Lab Administrator to join our team at APG, MD to support our C5ISR Center, RTI Directorate, Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.
Duties:
Responsible for day-to-day operations and functions in the PNT Division Labs.Work with the Property Book Manger (PBM) to manage lab equipment, from acquisition to disposal. Develop and maintain a Lab Property Tracking Station.Correspond with System Admin and ensure that Lab IT infrastructure tasks are accomplished regularly. Correspond and coordinate with Collateral Duty Safety Officer (CDSO) to develop universal Lab Safety Program.Apply lab safety requirements across three (3) labs.Correspond with CDSO to ensure Lab Safety Program complies with Army Regulations and standards.Represent PNT Division Leadership for Army Lab Inspections.Support Lab Tours when requested.Collect requirements for space and equipment for lab personnel. Document and identify what is needed and prepare that information for a decision discussion.Execute and oversee lab improvements/changes.Submit and monitor status of facilities tickets – report status periodically to PNT Leadership (i.e., during weekly staff call).Conduct periodic review of access list and propose edits to the Division Leadership.Provide approval for lab access (initiated by Sys Admin).Responsible for Lab Security.Support Systems Administration activities including but not limited to:Ensure that all IT and related systems are kept secured and functional for use by end-users within the labs.Assist with any Information Assurance (IA) scans and patches that cannot be automatically applied to systems – monitoring the IA compliance of systems in the labs and assisting with any exceptions to policy that may be required.Ensure that laboratory systems are secured according to the requirements of the lab authorization.Ensure that laboratory systems are functional after securing. Communicate requests for waivers/exemptions when required.Ensure that requests for administrative or power user access are submitted and tracked to completion in a timely manner.Ensure scanning of laboratory systems not managed by the Directorate SA/NA.Supplies quarterly:Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) ComplianceNetwork DiagramsPatch ComplianceReview of systems that require exemptions/waivers.
Required Skills & Experience:
Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.System administrators (SAs) are required to achieve Technical Level II (IAT-II) designation and complete all required DoD training.
Required Clearance:
ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.Minimum of seven (7) years of experience.CompTIA Security+ is required; IAT-II certification preferred.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.
Work Environment:
This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00, annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. This represents the typical range for fully qualified candidates for this position based on experience, geographic location, and other factors. The final offer amount may vary.
