Job Summary:

TheSystems Engineering Directorateis the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).

The SPY-6 family of radars and the GhostEye family of radars are seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer to support enhancement of current capabilities and development of new capabilities for these systems within the Sensor Product Line (SPL). This position can be located in Marlborough, MA or Tewksbury, MA.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Development of concepts of operations for radar systemsTrade study assessment, and analysis of sensor signal and radar processingRadar system/software requirements developmentRadar processing algorithm developmentStatistical and numerical analysis of radar performance dataAnalysis tool development in support of problem identification and resolutionCollaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop and implement solutionsPresent findings and solutions to Leadership and/or CustomersThis position requires on-site support

Qualification You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is requiredAn Active and in-scope US Secret Security Clearance

Qualification We Value:
Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architecturesExperience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environmentsDesign experience in the following radar system areas; antenna, receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing, clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic protect, sensor resource management and mission planningExperience with MATLAB/Python/C++Excellent written and oral communication skillsRequirements development experience, including use of DOORSExperience with technical writing and oral presentationsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong technical background in using MATLABSystems engineering experience with large, complex systems.
