Sierra7 is seeking a Senior Change Management Specialist will have the skills and ability to design an overarching strategy for ensuring the adoption, use, and sustainment of technology modernization and deployment within the Veterans Health Administration. The successful candidate must be certified in Organizational Change Management process and have considerable experience planning, developing, and executing organizational change management plans in a large, integrated health care system.
The Sr. Change Management Specialist requires 10 years' experience supporting a large corporation or government agency. Tasks include conducting reliable assessments to evaluate overall project health as well as identify potential risk and readiness associated with impacted stakeholder groups. Results of these assessments will be used to design customized plans to help impacted stakeholder groups through their change transition, including plans for strategic communications, sponsor preparation, and resistance management. These plans will be developed and integrated to support key milestones and build change competence among key stakeholders. To reinforce the implementation of the new technology, will assist in the development of success metrics, as well as monitor progress and provide periodic status reports.
The Sr. Change Management Specialist will be responsible for developing strategy, communication plans, coaching plan, resistance management plan, and training plan/evaluation; supporting and engaging senior leaders; supporting organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities; integrating change management activities into the project plan, and evaluating and managing user readiness; tracking and reporting issues; defining and measuring success metrics and monitoring change progress. Prosci® certified and experience with the application of the Prosci® ADKAR® model in a large integrated health care system and a union environment preferred.
Position Responsibilities: Design an organizational change management strategy capable of supporting end users through their transition to a modern technology solution. Actively lead and manage the people-side for all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including preparation, management, and sustainment Deliver project artifacts on time, with quality results that meet or exceed expectations. Produce and deliver periodic status reports and briefings to document and demonstrate current progress, barriers or risks among project leaders and stakeholders. Collaborate with project managers to support and facilitate project activities, including project team meetings, document reviews, and client-driven meetings. Proactively manage risk, issues, and opportunities Collaborate and interface with project stakeholders, including end users, business, VA organizations, vendors, and service partners. Perform analytical tasks designed to collect and analyze information. Develop briefings, presentations, training, and reports
Requirements:
Experience in large, integrated healthcare research initiatives, preferred Strong leadership skills and proven track record managing large, diverse, virtual teams across multiple locations Skilled in identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks and issues Ability to integrate organizational change management plans/tools into project plans to support key milestones and facilitate end user adoption, use, and sustainment Adept at developing and presenting briefings on project status to program leadership Experience in creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track end users' transition through their change journeys Experience developing and customizing change plans, such as communication, training, and resistance management plans Experience engaging with senior-level stakeholder Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills Strong oral and written communication skills Qualifications: Master's degree in behavioral science field (e.g., industrial and organizational psychology, applied psychology, cultural anthropology, etc.) Certification in Prosci's Change Management process Ten (10) years of relevant experience Experience working in VA or other Government agency (desired) Clearance or the ability to obtain clearance
