The Project Manager will be part of the support team on a Government Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program, and have experience with managing Information Technology related project with an understanding of life cycle and project management methodologies.

Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program is a part of Zero Trust approach to enhance cybersecurity protections. The Program's priority is to look at strengthening its overall cybersecurity standing with improved IT infrastructure using an upgraded DLP posture to enhance the Department's mission. The DLP solution(s) will prevent potential data breaches / data exfiltration by monitoring, detecting, and blocking sensitive data - regardless of its location, by utilizing DLP software and or hardware in alignment with Zero Trust Model/Architecture, and governance guidelines.

Position Responsibilities: Deliver project requirements on time, within budget, and with quality results that meet or exceed customer expectations. Proactively manage scope, actions, issues, and risks to ensure project success. Follow change control procedures effectively. Provide meeting planning and facilitation, including project team meetings, document reviews, and client-driven meetings (e.g., Integrated Project Team (IPTs) meetings). Coordinate development and reviews of high-quality project deliverables using appropriate templates. Collaborate and interface with project stakeholders, including end users, organizations, vendors, and service partners Manage the Operational, Technical, and support requirements.

Requirements:
Experience managing Information Technology related projects. Well-versed in the life cycle and project management methodologies. Experience in creating, applying, and maintaining tools to track program, project, or task performance data, including cost, schedule, velocity, and other project metrics Experience developing and reviewing project documentation, such as project management plans, business / technical requirements, and other artifacts. Ability to identify and mitigate risks. Assist in developing program deliverables and ensure they comply with the 508 requirements. Attending meetings (may require travel) related to this order, as applicable. Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with experience interfacing with senior government officials Strong communication skills - writing, speaking, listening Have experience in MS Project and PowerPoint and experience in SharePoint and Access. Other Tasks as needed Qualifications: The Project Manager required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline. Ten (10) years of experience Four years managing Cyber Security programs Two years in the Federal sector Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one The Project Manager?preferred?qualifications: Experience working with Government agencies (preferred) PMP Certification (preferred) Familiar with the Federal cyber security requirements and guidance, including Zero Trust Architecture and industry best practices for security architecture and operations Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) (preferred)
