The Program Manager will provide management oversight and be a client point of contact for a Government Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program. The PM must have experience with diverse IT projects both large and small; must be able to manage a portfolio of projects; must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices; must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program; and must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance.
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Program is a part of Zero Trust approach to enhance cybersecurity protections. The Program's priority is to look at strengthening its overall cybersecurity standing with improved IT infrastructure using an upgraded DLP posture to enhance the Department's mission. The DLP solution(s) will prevent potential data breaches / data exfiltration by monitoring, detecting, and blocking sensitive data - regardless of its location, by utilizing DLP software and or hardware in alignment with Zero Trust Model/Architecture, and governance guidelines.
Position Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of projects Manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including project definition and planning, contract management, project execution, and tracking and reporting. Manage and coordinate a diverse team to deliver high-quality results on time. Manage, track, and report on project costs, schedule, and performance progress. Manage scope, actions, issues, and risks (emphasis) to ensure project success. Manage the delivery of services on time, within budget, and with quality results that meet or exceed customer expectations. Produce and deliver weekly status reports, Monthly deliverables, and periodic briefings. Support corporate business development activities, including proposals.
Requirements:
Experience with diverse IT projects, both large and small. Demonstrate experience in full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices. The ability to identify and mitigate risks to the program. The ability to lead a specialized DLP risk assessment Attend the Initial Business and Technical meeting. Represent their subcontractors in all circumstances. Provide status on order activities, as needed. Ensure all deliverables are timely and comply with the 508 requirements. Resolve order issues or conflicts. Attending meetings (may require travel) related to this order, as applicable. Manage project managers and diverse teams. The ability to manage internal project financials and conduct internal PMRs Provide planning, design, implementation, management, operations, and technical support. Strong written and communication skills. Have expertise in MS Project and PowerPoint and experience in SharePoint and Access. Other Tasks as needed Qualifications: The Program Manager required qualifications : Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline Fifteen (15) years of applicable experience Five years managing Cyber Security programs Two years in the Federal sector Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one The Program Manager?preferred?qualifications: Experience working with Government agencies (preferred) PMP or PgMP certification (preferred) Experience with Integrated Management Systems (IMS) (preferred) Familiar with the Federal cyber security requirements and guidance, including Data Loss Prevention(DLP), Zero Trust Architecture and industry best practices for security architecture and operations
