About this role:
The Deployment Manager will have experience leading a team in fielding simple and complex IT systems, networks, hardware, and software.
The Deployment Manager will be part of the support team on a Government Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) initiative. The foundational tenet of the Zero Trust Model is that no actor, system, network, or service operating outside or within the security perimeter is trusted. ZTA is an enterprise cybersecurity architecture with Zero Trust concepts focused on component relationships, workflow planning, and access policies. The program's priority is to achieve operational excellence by implementing a discipline of security excellence.
Position Responsibilities: Led a team in the fielding of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software of both a simple and complex nature Manage, track, and report on risks, costs, schedules, and performance progress. Support corporate business development activities, including proposals
Requirements:
Must have extensive knowledge in creating deployment plans and creating cost, schedule, and performance expectations based on input from all team members. Ability to identify all activities required in a program's near, mid, and long-term phases. Experience in a wide variety of environments and equipment. Experience in planning to ensure that deployment can be performed on schedule and with the available resources. Assist in developing program deliverables and ensure they comply with the 508 requirements. Attending meetings (may require travel) related to this order, as applicable. Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills with experience interfacing with senior government officials Strong communication skills - writing, speaking, listening Have expertise in MS Project and PowerPoint and experience in SharePoint and Access. Other Tasks as needed Qualifications: The Deployment Manager required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering management, or other engineering or technical discipline is required. Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education Ten (10) years of experience Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one The Deployment Manager Preferred qualifications: Experience working with Government agencies (preferred) PMP or PgM P certification (preferred) Familiar with the Federal cyber security requirements and guidance, including Zero Trust Architecture and industry best practices for security architecture and operations
