As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering new features from specification through to production. You will have the opportunity to work with a modern technology stack, producing high-quality software for the oncology community. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create solutions to improve cancer patient outcomes.
As a Senior Software Engineer -Java, you will be responsible for:Participating in the agile software development process through discovery, elaboration, implementation, testing, and release managementWorking with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designsProviding training, technical thought leadership and guidance to educate peers on best practice and latest technology trendsWriting and reviewing detailed specifications for the development of complex system componentsRequirements
To be successful in this role you will:Have current experience in a Senior Agile Software Engineering roleBe skilled in developing back-end web technologies; Java, Spring (Boot/Security), and SOAP/REST web servicesDemonstrate an understanding of normalized/dimensional data modelling principlesShow advanced knowledge of testing tools and best practices including test-driven development, unit tests, and integration testsBe a natural communicator, with an ability to engage with stakeholders and teams at all levelsEnjoy collaborating with teams to shape new features and enhancementsWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work-life balance across the organization. With an average length of service of 9 years, we are confident that we offer an appealing working prospect for our people.
