LMI is seeking a parallel computing software developer in the D.C. Metropolitan region. This position will involve supporting simulation and modeling run on high-performance computing (HPC) clusters to support Air Force Readiness. Will work with technical lead and Air Force subject matter experts to create simulation rules and ensure code is functioning properly and sustained.
Responsibilities Writing modules in simulation that represent various business processes in the Air Force Debug simulation engine and work with technical lead to identify fixes for bugs Make recommendations on how to distribute simulation engine load across a HPC cluster Work with users to properly provide inputs into simulation engine Maintain simulation engine user and developer documentation Support simulation excursion development and analysis as needed Qualifications
Required Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline At least 5 years' experience supporting the DoD in software development Experience with distributed memory application development Programming experience in C++ and Python Experience with CMake build system Experience with Catch unit testing framework The ability to work as part of a team and independently Experience in maintaining user and developer documentation for applications This position requires a DoD Secret Security Clearance, for which you must be a US citizenDesired Master's In computer science, mathematics, or other quantitative discipline Prior experience in implementing linear and integer programs in GLPK, Gurobi, or CPLEX Experience using GLPK C API Experience in non-linear programming Experience in network flow problems Previous experience working with the Air Force Have experience with DoD ATO and STIG process Experience with Message Passing Interface (MPI)#LI-SH1
