Raytheon Missile Systems (RMD) is looking for talented and qualified Operational Technology Cybersecurity Lead to join our cyber protection team of Cyber Defenders working to actively assess and secure our Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and network environments. This position is part of the Defensive Cyber Operations group within IT Security charged with centralized global monitoring, proactive network defenses, with rapid incident response to mitigate threats against enterprise network.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Leader focused and SME for Industrial Control Systems / Operational Technology cyber security.
Understand/control the cyber landscape (e.g., physical, and logical asset movement, processes, and resources) within the manufacturing and engineering environments.
Design and implement processes to support and continuously improve the cybersecurity posture for Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) devices within the development and production environments.
Provide oversight and support for cyber security and secure network communications within OT environments. (e.g., SCADA, PLC, etc.)
Explore, develop, and implement cyber security architectures and initiatives to maintain the OT cyber security posture.
Provide hands on support, as needed, with security hardening, modifications, updates, patches, troubleshooting, and replacement within OT environments.
Support cyber security investigations in partnership with the Incident Response Team.
Stay up to date on cyber security best practices, trends, and regulatory changes
Identify gaps in current cyber security controls and recommend/implement solutions to resolve.
Understand and identify indicators of attack and compromise.
Utilize available tools and information to predict adversaries' behaviors and defend against potential attacks.
Address and resolve OT vulnerabilities in coordination with compliance and station personnel.
Develop technical procedures and guidance documents.
Mentor other team members to broaden knowledge and technical expertise across the team.
Off hours, weekends or holidays work may be required at times to support projects based on business need or requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) business and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in science, Technology, STEM, Engineering, and 5 years of relevant experience or an associate degree and 12 years of relevant experience or 14 years of direct experience.
Must have 5+ years of combine experiences in the following areas: operational technology, cyber security, networks, and firewalls.
Must have direct experience utilizing cyber security technologies such as:
intrusion detection systems (IDS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Host-based technologies (EDR), asset & configuration management systems, and incident response tools
Must have experience with Incident analysis, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
Must have experience leading security team.
Must have one or more of the following industry certifications: CISSP, CISA, GIAC, CISM, or equivalent.
Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Must have experience with project management.
Must be able to travel up to 10%
