This position will support and lead programs that are entering the next phases of product lifecycle after completing design and development such as the SPECTER suite of programs that encompasses hypersonic, counter hypersonic, and missile defense products.

Programs will face challenges consistent with new product entry, requiring the Quality Program Lead to utilize advanced leadership and management skills to ensure all issues are effectively and efficiently driven to closure.  The Quality Program Lead is responsible for promoting and executing a strong quality mindset, practices, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. This individual will oversee implementation of strategic quality improvements on programs and will manage a team of direct and indirect reports.

This role will frequently be the primary Quality interface for customers and suppliers, ensuring the successful execution of all Quality requirements of the program. The role will be responsible for leading a matrixed team of employees that includes SMEs in Mission Assurance, Supplier Quality, Hardware Quality and Software Quality. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.Provide direct management and grow a team of QPLs over the course of the program. As a member of the program leadership team, the QPL must also have knowledge and understanding of critical functional areas such as supply chain, engineering, and operations.Be the primary Quality interface with the program, customers, and supporting IPTs, responsible for guidance, leadership, and support on all matters pertaining to programs including resourcing, technical quality, financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.Directly interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.Quality of delivered products and services to our customers, including management of Quality risks and opportunities and leadership in resolution of Customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality.Be the primary Quality interface with the program Primes responsible for influencing, guidance, leadership and on all matters pertaining to requirements definition, technical quality, Q&MA program execution decisions.Responsible for improving upon processes or systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation skills.Assuring inclusion of quality requirements, planning, and consistency for program proposals and ROMsEnsuring robust root cause corrective action (RCCA) and FRACAS activities for systemic issues.Driving the application of statistical process controls to special processes and key product characteristics to ensure products meet end item performance requirements and mission assurance objectives.Accountable for quality performance to EAC and overall Quality EAC planning.

Qualifications you must have:
Requires a minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experienceExperience in both production and design phases of a program - with hands on experience in a related production discipline in operations, engineering, or quality.Experience with performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance - including familiarity with Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value Management).Requires the hired candidate to hold an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or higher) on Day 1 and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
