You will be responsible for supporting development, QA, and Dev-Ops teams, in developing products that support global innovation, intellectual property, and the rule of law.
This position will provide technical leadership and will also work withall levels of IT managementto improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating softwarein allenvironments.You'll work hard to ensure thatLexisNexis Reed Tech products are deliveredto Azure in asecure,repeatable and scalable process.
You will be entrusted with guiding ongoing development, contribute to roadmaps, introduce new technologies, and evangelize strategic direction. A combination of strong communication skills and strategic thinking, combined with hands on ability to lead and execute is a must. Architecture at LexisNexis should be hands on - you will provide code derived proof of concepts or scaffolds with engineering teams for reference architectures or best practices.
What we would like to see from you:7 years' experience designing infrastructure solutions supporting products that deploy into Azure ecosystem using infrastructure as code, preferablyTerraform.10years' experiencemanagingcomplex softwarebuild systemswith CI/CD toolsandpipelinessuch as Jenkins, Argo CD, Azure DevOpsPipelinesAbility to define architectures for compliance workloads, like GDPR, PCI, SOX, and government cloud workloads under FEDRAMP.Experience in architectural design and experience of establishing architectural governance.Extensive experience in multiple programming language(s) such as Java, Node.js, Scala, C#, terraform, Go, python and scripting languages.Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-makingExperience with a plurality of the operating systems: AWS, Windows, LinuxOR Experience with.NetPlatforms: .NET core, IIS, SQL Server, .NET, C#, and JavaScriptIdeally possessing Microsoft Certifications AZ-30, AZ-301 and AZ-400or equivalent experienceA degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving systems engineering (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent practicalexperience.
